Greene County Site Terms

These terms govern use of Greene County Released Inmates. Using the site means accepting these rules, including the strict limits on record use and the limits of third-party information. Stop using the service if you do not agree.

This privately owned site is not tied to Greene County, a sheriff, jail, corrections department, or other government body. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provides an FCRA-covered service for credit, employment, insurance, housing, or tenant screening. This is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Service

This is a private reference that points toward Greene County and Missouri inmate, release, supervision, court, and custody resources. It stores no official records. It cannot confirm live custody, release a person, post bond, or file a government document. Outside research tools may be offered under their own terms.

Acceptable Use

Visitors must use the service lawfully and without harming others or the site. You may not stalk, harass, threaten, attempt unauthorized access, run bots or scrapers, disrupt access for other visitors, or use information for a decision prohibited by the FCRA or other law.

No Consumer Reports

The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and supplies no consumer report, credit report, or background check. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers a screening service. You agree not to use site content for hiring or firing, tenant or housing screening, creditworthiness, insurance pricing, licensing, permits, government-program eligibility, or any other FCRA-regulated purpose.

Outside Links

Links may lead to the Greene County roster, the Sheriff records process, the Circuit Clerk, corrections pages, legal resources, or independent search services. A link does not transfer control to this site or endorse the destination. We are not responsible for another service’s content, data practices, terms, availability, or security.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are supplied “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not promise that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that an outside search will return a complete result. Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing here is an official statement from a government office.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the owners, operators, contributors, and partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from access to, use of, or inability to use the site or a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site, its owners, operators, contributors, and partners harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

Content Ownership

Site text, graphics, logos, design, and code belong to Greene County Released Inmates or its content partners unless a source says otherwise. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit protected material without written permission. Government records reached through links remain subject to their own rules.

Changes to Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. The new version becomes effective when posted. Continued use after a revision means you accept the updated terms.

Access May End

Access may be limited, suspended, or revoked at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. That authority does not limit any other right available under law or these terms.

Missouri Law Applies

Missouri law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. A dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Missouri, unless controlling law requires a different forum.

Severability

If a court finds one part invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms stay in effect. The affected language will be narrowed only as much as needed to make it lawful and enforceable.
